Plus International Bank was faced with the challenges of an archaic data backup solution, which involved tape rotation and offsite storage of those tapes. The overall procedures associated with tapes were impacting the end-user negatively as the backup solution was unreliable. Last month we held our first CQ Game Night in our new headquarters. We definitely took advantage of our new technology and space. Multiple gaming systems were available and we raced cars, perfected our archery skills and had fierce Ping-Pong battles. Check out the video from our epic game night!

It would seem at first glance that most people say that their technology needs are a technical decision. The fact is, this couldn’t be further from the truth.  While technical proficiency is helpful further down the line, it will often hinder and postpone the process at the beginning.  Let me paint you a picture.  You are going out for a nice romantic meal for two and your budget is $100.  Upon arriving you are handed a menu with no prices.  The whole night you are treated royally, needs have been catered to, and whatever you have asked has been given.  The food and drink are amazing and it is simply the best time you have ever had.  You receive the check at the end and it is $1,000.  To me at least, as nice as this whole evening was, I am now left with a sour taste in my mouth.  This is the importance of making a financial decision first, so that at the end when you’re handed the bill, you haven’t wasted your time or money.  Let me show you how technology is no different from any other everyday life decision.
