Plus International Bank was faced with the challenges of an archaic data backup solution, which involved tape rotation and offsite storage of those tapes. The overall procedures associated with tapes were impacting the end-user negatively as the backup solution was unreliable. I recently attended VMware Partners Exchange 2012 in Las Vegas. This event is dedicated to educate and enable partners to deploy and sell VMware solutions to customers around the world in a successful manner. It also provides an insight to VMware’s plans for the upcoming year as well as the previous year’s performance. Furthermore, during this event VMware offers partners the opportunity to attend different breakout sessions where they have VMware Engineers and industry professionals talk about their products, upcoming releases and deployment best practices.
