On an early Saturday morning, Ivan Rezvoy and David Sanchez went head to head, competing in a Paintball Challenge Face Off. The stakes were high as the grand prize was the sought-after bike that Brian Dosal graciously donated. The prize had a price tag though; the winner of the bike must compete in all three legs (swim, bike, run) in the 2013 Nautica South Beach Triathlon. Allow me to backtrack for a moment. Prior to the 2012 triathlon, Sanchez “El Tiburon” did his fair share of “trash talking” that continued after the triathlon was completed. Rezvoy “Wolfman” joined the conversation (trash talking) and somewhere in between, the Paintball Challenge Face Off to win Brian’s bike came to fruition. Last week the Compuquip and Blue Wave teams gathered for their first World Cup event. Both teams had their eyes on the prize, the coveted Trophy, but mostly “bragging rights”. Like all CQ sporting events, “trash talking” is part of the game and this game was not spared. Let’s watch the video and see if the teams can back up their “trash talking”.

Last month we held our first CQ Game Night in our new headquarters. We definitely took advantage of our new technology and space. Multiple gaming systems were available and we raced cars, perfected our archery skills and had fierce Ping-Pong battles. Check out the video from our epic game night!
For the 5th consecutive year, Compuquip Triathlon Teams competed in the Nautica South Beach Triathlon held on April 1, 2012. The teams consisted of six relay teams along with four individual triathletes and a full cheering squad! We placed in the top 10 corporate teams, but most importantly, we raised over $10,500 for the St Jude Children’s Research Hospital. We are happy to have been a part of this race for 5 years and helping to raise over $65,000 in that time.
