Hello again! As promised, this 3rd installment looks to conclude our review of Flash Foresight, by Daniel Burrus. Part 1 examined the principal of Starting with Certainty. - Anticipate Now that you can spot cyclical and linear changes as well as which are hard trends and which are soft trends, you are ready to start formulating some strategies. It is not enough anymore to be proactive, to succeed you need to be preactive. Being proactive is about heading off problems that are right around the corner. You always hear companies encouraging their customers to provide feedback, and Compuquip is no different in that regard. What I can personally attest to is that we really mean it: We want your feedback!!
When our Support Team believes that an issue has been successfully corrected an email gets sent to the user who initiated this request. This email includes a link to a short survey with 5 questions based on various aspects on how this request was handled, as well as a comments box. Anything less than a 70% satisfaction score receives a follow up from our Client Services Manager, Alex Marrero. So far, we’re not doing too bad: our overall Client Satisfaction score has consistently been between 92%-96% every month since we began tracking it. The problem, though, is that we’re getting less than a 10% response rate. So, are we really getting a true picture of our performance? Maybe, maybe not…

Flash Foresight – noun. A sudden burst of insight about the future that produces a new and radically different way of doing something that will open up invisible opportunities and solve seemingly impossible problems before they happen.
In Flash Foresight, author Daniel Burrus attempts to show the reader that it is completely possible to predict the future (kind of) and thus, plot your own course accordingly instead of allowing destiny to plot it for you.
