Americans for Immigrant Justice Leverages the Compuquip Managed IT Services Solution

Like most not-for-profit organizations, Americans for Immigrant Justice is focused on delivering core services to those in need.  Its challenge was to dedicate the time, operating revenue and expertise to effectively manage its evolving IT demands.  As the organization grew five-fold over a 12 year period, these IT challenges quickly surpassed the capacity of an independent IT consultant who had been retained to be on call to manage problems as they occurred.  To improve IT support and provide a comprehensive and cost-effective method for  managing technology issues, AI Justice turned to Compuquip for Managed IT Services.

“Working with Compuquip has eliminated many of the financial and operational headaches associated  with developing an in-house IT department or relying on one consultant to handle our various needs. Rather, we’re assured the expertise of a professional team with multiple resources and skill sets available to help us manage our IT needs efficiently and cost-effectively.”   Chris Sailsbury, Director of Development and Communications, Americans for Immigrant Justice.

The Compuquip Solution:

To meet the escalating technology performance needs of AI Justice’s users in three locations, Compuquip first assigned two certified engineers to provide dedicated monitoring, management and support of AI Justice’s network.   Compuquip further simplified and unified AI Justice’s enterprisewide IT support by funneling AI Justice’s end user calls through Compuquip’s Service Desk. This single point of communications enables Compuquip to proactively manage all of AI Justice’s devices and respond immediately to AI Justice calls for assistance, either remotely or through on-site visits.  As a result, AI Justice is assured consistency in its dedicated IT personnel backed by the resources of a larger team of experienced professionals.

Prior to working with Compuquip, the capabilities of AI Justice’s data backup and restoration systems were stretched to their limits. Once the organization moved to the Managed IT Services platform, Compuquip deployed its most experienced engineers to assess the situation and design a new system that has since provided consistent backup and restored functionality of AI Justice’s critical data.
