During my visit to Connectwise for the Advisory Council Meeting they asked me to put together a presentation of the top priorities for our organization over the next 1, 3, and 5 years. When I was given this assignment I thought it was “Mission Impossible” but I was pretty certain on my priorities for the next 12 months.
Here’s what I shared with them and I wanted to share with you.
At Compuquip we want to :
- Focus on the Client Experience – at the end of the day we are a ‘client focused’ organization and our job is (and always will be) to take care of the client.
- Find New Clients – This is an on going battle and focus for any organization however we pride ourselves on delivering a good service and providing a valuable service that we think can help many clients.
- Streamline & Automate our Internal Processes – With the technology available in today’s market this would allow us to deliver services more efficiently to our clients which would save us time and them money.
- Connect with our Current and Prospective Team Members – During any tough economy its usually the employees who take the brunt of the pain. Management spends less time with them, perks are cut, and people are pushed to work more for less. We actively want to ensure this is not the case at Compuquip.
- Identify the “Next” solution for our clients – New technologies are coming out faster and faster every day and it’s our job to evaluate them and determine how they can be best utilized within our clients.
Putting together this presentation forced me to get some thoughts down on paper and really consider where we are and where we are going. Now that I went through this exercise our team has a clear picture of what we’re doing… and so do you!
PS – The 3 year and 5 year are worthless to talk about… in this industry we can barely predict 5 quarters ahead, much less 5 years!
