MIAMI, September 2010 – Compuquip Technologies, a premier IT services provider in South Florida, recently partnered with Merchant One for their Managed IT Services solution in preparation for a full network upgrade.
Merchant One, a nationwide credit card software provider for small and large businesses, required an upgraded IT environment after rapid growth in their business and company size. Their successful one-man IT department in the early years of their organization was now having trouble keeping up with increasing IT demands. As the company spent more and more time worrying about the IT challenges they were facing, they realized they needed help from a larger service provider.
Merchant one decided to partner with Compuquip over other managed services providers due to their fundamentally sound approach to their network overhaul and their focus, size, and breadth of knowledge. Compuquip’s Managed IT Services, a solution that includes the development of a network roadmap over the first 60 days of the partnership and details every aspect of an IT environment, will provide the data Merchant One needs to make educated decisions moving forward. Based upon the roadmap’s conclusions, a full network upgrade will be recommended and executed together with a migration of Merchant One’s servers to a secure data center.
“Compuquip’s plan for our network that included delayed spending based on real network data made sense on all levels,” said Jim Saka, CEO of Merchant One. “With no surprise costs and a terrific support model, we look forward to working with Compuquip to create a stress-free IT environment that allows our focus to return to our core business.”
“We are very excited to bring on Merchant One, a family business very similar to Compuquip,” added Brian Dosal, director of sales and marketing for Compuquip. “Their needs align perfectly with what our Managed IT Services model is designed to provide; IT peace of mind.”
