Compuquip’s newest Subsidiary
Compuquip Professional Services, Compuquip’s newest subsidiary, fulfills a long-standing business objective of providing comprehensive IT Consulting Services to Compuquip’s family of Clients. With the addition of CPS, Compuquip’s service offerings have now expanded to include Staff Augmentation as a compliment to their already established enterprise IT Solutions design and development. The new venture provides the capability to forge new business relationships and opportunities.
CPS was formally established in November 2008, but its origins go back to 2004 when CPS Director Jack McCarthy and Compuquip first interacted. In 2004 McCarthy was the co-founder and Partner in a successful Fort Lauderdale-based IT Consulting Firm. When he began working with a Doral-based client, Compuquip Technologies, he immediately discovered several unique and interesting qualities about the company. One, was the length of time the firm had been in business, which is highly unusual for IT firms in Florida and most other areas. The second, was the incredibly enlightened and consistently applied ‘Client First’ business philosophy and ‘Pro-Employee’ internal culture which emanated from the top down and throughout the Organization. Understanding the dynamic competitive advantages and quality of professional life created by these business practices, the thought of a future collaboration remained an exciting possibly. Fast forward to 2008, and the combination of timing and circumstance created the perfect opportunity for CPS to be born!
Today, CPS provides Staff Augmentation and high level SAP Solutions Consulting to Compuquip and organic CPS Clients both locally and nationally. CPS, while in its early growth stages, is becoming recognized by both Compuquip Clients and new CPS Clients alike as a premier provider of top tier IT talent. In keeping with the standards and traditions established by Compuquip for over twenty-nine years, CPS delivers uncompromising customer service to back up its superior resources. The future looks bright indeed for both CPS and Compuquip!
