Community Involvement
Compuquip is committed to building a strong and vibrant community, improving quality of life, and making a positive difference in the neighborhoods where we live and work. We leverage company resources and employee talents to promote the success of our community through various efforts.
Compuquip President and CEO, Alberto Dosal, was recently named Group Chair of the Domestic Business Development Group of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce. In this role, Dosal will oversee 12 committees that represent Miami’s diverse business and industrial sectors, including technology, small business, healthcare, real estate, and transportation. Alberto Dosal previously served as chairman of the Chamber’s Technology Committee, where he developed and increased participation in new programs and identified opportunities that have served to educate, inform and raise awareness of Miami’s thriving technology and bioscience sectors. His leadership at the Chamber has encouraged collaboration between local businesses and Chamber members, inspired others to reach for new accomplishments, and gained the involvement of several Compuquip employees. Mr. Dosal hopes to continue to bolster our local economic landscape through his work at the Chamber.
For the past three years, Compuquip Technologies has participated in the Nautica South Beach Triathlon, raising over $44,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The triathlon event includes a half-mile swim in the Atlantic Ocean, a 19-mile bike race through Downtown Miami and a four-mile run on South Beach. The months of training and fundraising are well worth the effort in benefit of such a great cause. Compuquip is proud of its team members and looks forward to participating again next year.
Compuquip also assists other charitable organizations such as the Alpha-1 Foundation, which is dedicated to providing the leadership and resources that will result in a cure for Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency, a serious lung disease. Brian Dosal, Compuquip director of sales and marketing, serves as president of the Notre Dame Club of Miami where he organizations community outreach and social events for local members. In addition to community service, a large portion of Compuquip’s hiring is focused on recruiting local talent.
Compuquip enables clients to focus on their core business by integrating, securing, and managing their technology infrastructure, drawing improved performance and reducing costs.
